Suction Trephine
The Nanoedge suction trephine is designed to take out a circular corneal button of predetermined diameter from the recipient cornea in a corneal transplant (Keratoplasty) procedure. The cutting action of the circular blade is assisted by a manual suction mechanism, which holds the recipient cornea firmly while the cutting is being performed.
This diagnostic strip made from the Whatman No 41 filter paper measures the amount of tear production.
Trephine Punch (Vacuum)
The Nanoedge Trephine Punch (Vacuum) is designed to take out a circular corneal button of predetermined diameter from the donor cornea in a corneal transplant procedure. Cutting action of the Trephine Punch is assisted by a manual Vacuum mechanism, which holds the corneal firmly in place while the cutting is being performed.
